Doggie Daycare Photos 5/29-5/30

Friday and Saturday around here were great. No rain in sight (which, after the deluges on Thursday) was a blessing. Everyone had great days we all played well and rested well. We're approaching the "dog days" of summer. According to the website Suite101, "the "Dog Days of Summer" is a term used to refer to the central, torrid part of the hot season and it originally comes from the star Sirius."* Interesting reading if the saying is part of your vocabulary. I hope you all have a great weekend and we'll see you next week!

Phebe and Zoe are sister from different litters. They are both cavachons - cavalier king charles spaniels bred with bichon frise. They have sweet temperament and are very playful. We are always happy to see their smiling faces.

Doggie Daycare Photos 5/27

A fine day at You Lucky Dog. We welcome back my niece, Emma. For those of you who don't know Emma - she was instrumental in establishing the business and was my right hand girl for three years. She will be working most Wednesdays and Thursdays this summer. It's great to have her back.

Other big news, Jim B. our receptionist, has decided to take the summer off and travel up to Alaska. He'll share more details with us as his departure time approaches. I hope everyone will wish him well and we'll look forward to his return!

Remember to mark your calendars for June 13th from 2 to 4 pm. Come on down to YLD for a client appreciation event. Ice cream sundaes, popcorn, information booths and lots of fun!

Onslow's mom, Anita, came into daycare telling us that Onslow wanted one of the "boyz" to play with him. She explained that Onslow was just too big and she didn't do a good enough job for him.
