It was a wonderful week here at YLD! I spoke at length with Mindy this week. She is doing well and can't believe her fifth week at school is winding down. Her cats have settled in well as has Mindy. She's been practicing scissoring to get her thumb muscles up to par for her return. She misses all the dogs more than she misses the humans!
The cooler weather means more energy to play so there are more action shots. Enjoy and have a great weekend.

Sunshine really too a "shine" to Miles today. There are several photos of her encouraging him (and Hennah) to play with her. It worked (as photos further down display.)
My favorite photo of the day. Sprocket and Maggie "boxing'. They look very fierce and mean but they actually where having a good time. We don't ecourage this type of play because it can escalate quickly but both dogs boxer for a few seconds and then went back to four paws on the ground type of playing.

Great visual of a proper play introduction. Both dogs are "play bowing" which is an invitation to play. Gracie and Tubbs did a good job playing together this morning.
