Sara needs a forever home!

Sara is a happy, playful, and very loving 9 year old Beagle, who was rescued from the kill shelter after her former owners decided she was an inconvenience to their travel plans.

Nine is actually pretty young for a Beagle. Sara is extremely sweet, loving, playful, funny and gentle. She loves all children, people in general, and gets along well with other dogs and animals. She currently lives with 2 other Beagles in her foster family. She loves going on walks and rides, and she is very well behaved in the car. She also loves chewing bones and playing tug of war with her toys. She is also equally happy to chill out in front of the TV or curl up with you and snuggle. She is housebroken and knows how to sit, stay, heel, speak, and walk on the leash. She has been to the vet for a full workup and wellness panel and is perfectly healthy with no issues, except Cushings Syndrome which is very easy to treat and not at all serious. Cushings can cause weight gain and excessive thirst and hunger if left untreated. She takes oral liquid medicine once a day which only costs about 40 dollars a month. Sara will make a wonderful, fun, and loving companion for her for her forever family

Sara has visited YLD and did very well in the pack. I have also done a home visit with Sara's foster parents. I will donate more time in home to help Sara's transition go smoothly.
