New Training Class

Hey Everyone,
Its been a while since I've posted. Sorry about that!

I have a new class starting Thursday, July 8th at 7 pm. This is going to be an all ages quick manners class. I tried a 45 minute puppy class recently and people really like it. Let's see how this goes.

We will be working on sit, lay, stay, loose leash walking, stand, and maybe a few tricks. This will be great for shy dogs since there won't be any play time. As usual, I'm limiting this class to 8 dogs. The cost is $90 for the 6 weeks. The first week is humans only, no dogs.

Please email or call to sign up.

Just a quick reminder...Heat isn't your dogs friend! Remember to walk at cooler times of the day. Be cautious of hot asphalt and concrete, your dogs feet are sensitive! Offer plenty of water and shade if you'll be outside. Kiddie pools are awesome! Sunblock is important on shorter hair dogs that will be outside for any length of time.

If you have a long hair dog, PLEASE do research before shaving!!!! Buzz cutting a husky isn't a great idea. Keeshonds as well. Some coats may not grow back correctly. Most coats are actually designed to help cool the dog! I'm definitely not a groomer, seek a knowledgeable one out and ask questions first!

When you pick up your dog, you'll probably see us inside more and more as it gets hotter. PLEASE, and I'm begging here...Don't walk straight up to the window and stand waiting for your dog. It causes some dogs to get very elevated. This elevated state of mind can cause issues or injury. If you'd like to peek in, that's wonderful, but please do it from a distance. We love those windows and definitely don't want to have to hang shades or cover them :) Thanks!

I hear thunder...time to run. Thank you all for everything, especially bringing your pups to visit with us. We appreciate you!
