Its been an exciting few days around You Lucky Dog!
Janine's husband Adam is a professional contractor locally. He's spent some time the last few days updating some door ways and (we're very excited) installed a new kitchen/crate room door. It may seem silly but when you use these doors for safety and the protection of our dogs its very important...not to mention each door in our facility may be used hundreds of times per day. Adam's done an excellent job, quality work and we're all excited for the next few projects on his list!
The blueprints for our security and fire watch system are also underway. Once the plans are done, we'll move to permits and hopefully have an install date very soon. This is going to be a big job and one we feel is extremely important. We're taking our time to make sure its done correctly and meets all of our needs.
The staff has really had time to bond and settle into our new positions over the last few weeks. Janine and Katie are doing a great job of learning about the pack, our routein and all of those little things that make up our day. We are very proud of them!
Lastly, I'll finally be starting training classes again! This has been the season for change and I dont plan on leaving the classes untouched. More on that tomorrow :)
Thank you all so much for your support these last few weeks, you've been so awesome! We are very grateful to you all! I'm off to grab some dinner then head back outside with the boarding dogs for some extra play time.
