Good Sunday evening to you all! We had a wonderful weekend here at YLD. Jim S. worked most of yesterday so I visited my favorite scrapbooking store and spent the day creating scrapbooks. They are pretty and fun plus I had a great time away from the pack. As usual, I took over Saturday afternoon and all day Sunday. We woke early to a sweet sunrise and beautiful weather. The pack had a great time hanging out this morning. Most of the photos were taken then.

Later today, Dr. Brian Lapham (from Hidden Valley) conducted a first aid/cpr class for area pet sitters and several YLD staff members. We all had a great time and appreciate Dr. Lapham's desire to share knowledge with us all.

Today we also welcomed two potential foster dogs. Tessa and Gus come to us from a client's parents who were laid off. When they were blessed with new positions the dogs couldn't be included. I say potential because we have to make sure they will enjoy the pack and be mannerly just like we screen other dogs. If they work I'll have a whole blog just on Tessa and Gus so you all can assist in placing them in a new home. If you want a head start on helping with this endeavor there are flyers on the front desk.

Well, there are more words then usual so I'll get off the keyboard and let you enjoy the photos.

Many blessing to you and yours,
Wendy

Sherman had on his happy face this morning.

Darwin and Belle - happy faces!

Some of today's Sunday morning pack. Belle, Roxie, Roxy, Satchel, Colby, LP and a touch of Callie.

Reilly

This is Little Puppy. He hasn't been here for a year! He is trying out again to see if he can visit with us while Mom's away. Little Puppy received his name when he was a little pup. We now mostly call him "LP".

LP playing with Sherman.

Callie and Zoe with Cooper and Maya in the background.

Roxie C looking a mite tired this Sunday morning. We were up with the sun today!

Roxie C. saying hi to Teddy.

Darwin giving himself a massage. No hot stones today!

Teddy and Sherman saying hello.

Teddy and Sherman deciding who is the bigger man! It's called posturing!

A relaxing Sunday morning view. Callie, Baxter, Reilly, Lady, Cooper and Zoe.

Emma voluntarily submitting to Bo. She just walks up to him and slowly flips over onto her back. She's still considered a puppy so she's just admitting to being young!

Darwin submitting to Baxter since Baxter is older and a stronger male than Darwin.

The many sides of Roxy R. She looks great from all angles!

Cooper & Zoe having a great time together.

Bo and Phoebe will be featured in this week's blog - they are visiting while the parental units are away!
