YLD Love Connection, Meet the Breed and one tired boxer!

Happy Sunday! I have to admit, I thought my weekly dogblog post was in trouble this week when I got the dogs up from nap. Juno Boxer immediately walked outside and passed out in the sun. What? A tired boxer? Juno never lays down! The rest of the dogs followed suit, but as soon as I turned the music on they perked up a little:)

Lola Puppy

This cute boy, Baxter, excels at many things, and two of his favorites at daycare are barking and extreme tail wagging. He can wag his tail faster than any dog ever! Example:

Cammie and Callie kissing
Callie and Willie
Pepper and Juno
Tiny Benson<3
Pepper was soooo lazy and snuggley today!
This has to be one of the cutest YLD doggy crushes ever! Willie is in LOVE with Callie! They were inseparable today!

Cammie
Maggie S
This is Philly, or Philliam as he is known around here. Every time he comes for daycare at least two customers ask what breed the "big fluffy one" is, so I thought you would all like to Meet the Breed:) Philly is one of two Keeshonds we have at YLD. The other is his cousin Kellsie. Keeshonds are part of the German Spitz family of dogs, originally used to guard Barges and farms. They have the same coloring as wolves and carry their tails curled up so they look like part of the body.
When Philly lays down he actually has a dent in his fur where the tail goes! Keeshonds are known for being excellent family dogs and get very attached to their owners. Philly is just a big teddy bear! They are very intelligent and respond well to training. Keeshond is pronounced "KAYZ-HAWND".
