Photos 03/05/09

This morning's play session was very active. First, there were more dogs than previously this week (thanks to the weather) and they were all very energetic. We had a great morning and that means this afternoon should be wonderful too. All the babies will go home worn out and tired.

Before I forget, I'd like to invite you all to visit First Friday in downtown Raleigh. Jim S. and his daughter, Mindy, have rented an art studio and will be participating in First Friday. If you'd like more information, please call the office.

Enjoy the photos. The "kids" (Lauren, Cari and Aaron) took many of the photos. They are getting better each day with their subject choice and set up. I am getting faster at the new photo shop/editing program so have fun reviewing the results!

Peace,
Wendy

Cammie husky taking a quiet break under the play equipment.

Coconut, Chestnut and Maggie Mae. It kind of looks like a bus stop to me. I wonder where they'd go?

Murphy. I'm glad to announce his mom is healing well and almost completed the road to recovery from her surgery. Congratulation Kim, you're looking good!

Nick poodle sniffing Rae (saying hello!) with Simon and Cammie in the background. Nick's mom is also on the road of recovery from surgery. You're in our thoughts Dianne!
Bailey C., Philly, Teddy Two Coats, Tucker, Chestnut and Sherman all having a good time on the top play area.

Sugaree and Belle saying hello to Sasha T.
Sherman showing Cammie what a big dog he is!

Nola and Maggie Mae are either waiting for a bus to come by and take them away or maybe just resting together on the play equipment. You decide!

Lauren and Chestnut...There's that old childhood ditty, "Lauren and Chestnut sitting in a tree..." Lauren does love Chestnut and his brother Coconut.
Maggie S. giving Coconut kisses. ("Coconut Kisses sounds like a song title to me!)

Bowden's return after being away from daycare for several months. She seems to be integrating well.

Sassy playing with Maya. I saw Maya start to play with another small dog and Sassy gently pulled Maya's tail to remind her of their play session!

Aaron and Archie looking through the fence at the smaller dogs.

Emma G. and Holston had never met until today. I think it is love at first sight because these two had a blast together!

The welcoming club members Carly (on the equipment), Bailey C., and Tucker. What I know that you don't is that Carly had just had a bath and smelled great!

Sassy, Wallace and Bella B. and ready to play together.

Maddie A. rough housing with Archie mastiff while baby basset Sophie gets an earful of Maddie to try and distract her from her play session. I think Sophie was jealous!

Cute little Wallace saying, "Helloooooo, Violet!" Violet doesn't look as enthusiastic!

Philly and Bailey C. meeting and greeting. Then the same two with Mickey in the background. All three were in the top play group this morning!

Tsuki and Nellie freezing during a play session.
Old man Jack, Winnie, Archie and and unknown (my eyesight is not as good as it used to be and the photos seem kind of tiny to me) wandering around the bottom play area as they dogs get ready to play.
Bella B. and baby basset - aka. Sophie. (She's not so much a baby basset anymore but that was her nick name and it sticks!)
